AI readiness is not a score
A readiness score compresses the exact dependencies leaders need to see. A useful assessment produces an ordered system of constraints, experiments, and owners.
The migration plan is not the migration model
Plans sequence activities. Models explain dependencies, failure propagation, rollback, and the evidence required to proceed. When reality changes, only one of them can reason.
Evaluate platforms with your failure modes
Feature parity is easy to demonstrate. Operating fit appears in latency tails, exception handling, audit evidence, cost under representative load, and the work required after the demo.
Governance should specify evidence
Principles such as fairness, safety, and accountability matter—but delivery teams need to know which evidence is required, who reviews it, and what happens when it is incomplete.
